Editorial policy
Rising News Dispatch aims to make the craft of news easier to understand. We distinguish explanation from opinion, state uncertainty plainly and correct the record when we find an error.
Accuracy and sourcing
Articles are prepared with care and checked for clear, supportable wording. Claims should be grounded in material suitable to the subject, and descriptions should not imply that an example proves more than it does. When a point is uncertain, contested or incomplete, we say so rather than filling gaps with assumption.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to guarantee favourable treatment for a partner or contributor. A relationship with an outside party does not determine our conclusions, and we do not present promotional claims as independent editorial findings.
Corrections and updates
Readers may report an error through the Contact page. We review specific concerns and, where a correction is warranted, amend the relevant wording and make the change clear in context. Updates that materially alter an article's meaning should not be disguised as routine copy edits.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid placements and other partner material are clearly identified as such and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. Illustrations may sometimes be AI-generated; when they are, the image is labelled so readers can distinguish illustration from documentary imagery.
